A warrant has been issued for a man accused of beating his girlfriend unconscious last week.
A woman was discovered by her four-year-old daughter on Saturday in critical condition with severe head trauma. She is now recovering in hospital. The young girl alerted neighbours when she couldn’t wake her mother up.
Police say the little girl is now staying with her grandparents on the Siksika reserve.
Ronald Thomas Manyguns, 48, is wanted on warrants for aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, uttering threats and common assault. He is known to police.
