A Canada-wide murder arrest warrant has been issued for a 19-year-old Mississauga man in connection with last Sunday’s shooting death near the Coliseum movie theatre.

Tristan Palmer, 19, is considered armed and dangerous, police said yesterday.

Peel homicide investigators allege Palmer fired a bullet into Husam Dagheim’s chest around 8:30 p.m. last Saturday.

Dagheim, 27, of Mississauga, was sitting in a van with his girlfriend near the entrance to the Famous Players Coliseum movie complex, across the street from Square One Shopping Centre.

Dagheim died soon afterwards at Trillium Health Centre.

A police source said the shooting was drug-related and connected to a gang in the Montreal area.
