A tribute has been set up online to honour Michelle Krsek, the three-old-year girl who died last week after being hit with debris from a building by the Calgary Tower.
The site, michelleneed sjustice.com, was started by friends of the Krsek family, Catalin and Nicoleta Kallo and Vincent Tudor.
“This way, we hope to increase awareness regarding safety on downtown construction sites,” said Tudor.
The website features Michelle’s story, a place to make comments, newspaper articles and information, as well as a place to donate money to the family. The website is also calling for justice in the little girl’s name.
“They don’t need money to buy a house or go to Mexico or have a lavish life. They need money now to pay their bills,” said Catalin Kallo.
Michelle’s father Miroslav and brother Eric were also injured in the incident.
