Brides-to-be will converge on the 2008 Bridal Fantasy Show at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre this weekend.

On Sunday the hottest boutique show in the city will attract more than 6,000 people with its fourth appearance in the city, according to organizer Heidi Dennis.

“It’s really huge. It’s the hottest show in the city and people should definitely see it. It’s worth coming just for the magazine,” Dennis said, referring to the free copy of Bridal Fantasy handed out to attendees.

The magazine features more than 150 pages of dresses and information for brides, brides-to-be and the wedding parties, which is what the Sunday show will focus on.

“We will have a lot of brides, bridesmaids, moms and even lots of grooms too,” Dennis said.

The show also features a world class fashion show featuring the most up to date fashions and styles which the organizer said is the highlight of the day.

“The Calgary show has a more boutique feeling to it; it’s very intimate and inviting. There’s just so much to see and people should check it out,” she said.

There will be chances for people to win prizes including a $50,000 family vacation.
