An elderly couple from St. Albert is still missing after 11 days and their family is looking for answers into their disappearance. Lyle and Marie McCann left on a road trip to B.C. in their motorhome, towing a light green Hyundai Tucson, on the morning of July 3.
They were last seen at a Superstore gas station in St. Albert.
Police found the couple’s motorhome completely destroyed by fire on July 5 but didn’t start a missing persons investigation until the McCann family reported them missing on July 10. The SUV is missing as well.
“This is a jigsaw puzzle that we’re putting together,” said Sgt. Patrick Webb.
“At this point the focus is on finding the McCanns.”
Bret McCann, Lyle and Marie’s son, said the family has set up a Facebook page in the hopes of finding his parents.
