What’s open and closed during the holidays

Since Christmas Day and Boxing Day fall on the weekend, the statutory holidays are observed on the following Monday and Tuesday.

Transit: GO Transit trains will start running earlier in the afternoon. Check www.gotransit.com to see how this could affect your commute.

Stores: Many stores and services close early, including banks, public libraries, the Beer Store and LCBO.

CHRISTMAS DAY

Transit: The TTC will operate on a Sunday schedule. The subway and most routes start at 9 a.m. GO Transit trains run on a holiday schedule.

Closed: Banks, govern­ment offices, public lib­raries, post offices, the Beer Store, LCBO, grocery stores and most shopping malls.

BOXING DAY
