I’m wondering what I should do with my toilet brush? I like to keep it beside the toilet for practical reasons but at the same time I think it is really ugly.
The toilet brush is a cleaning apparatus much like a vacuum cleaner, mop or broom.
The toilet brush was not designed to be an decorative accessory displayed beside the toilet; it is designed and intended solely for the cleaning of the lavatory pan (toilet bowl).
In a perfect world, the toilet brush should be kept either under the bathroom sink or in a closed container within your cleaning caddy.
Although the cleaning chemicals you use to clean your toilet will help to keep your toilet brush clean, it is still dirty and exposed to bacteria based on what it is intended for.
Finally after years of household cleaning, and more importantly of training housekeepers at my butler school, I strongly recommend one solution for cleaning the toilet, and that is SC Johnson & Son Scrubbing Bubbles® Fresh Brush™ Toilet Cleaning System
Now I should own shares in this company, or at least have free products for life because I’m obsessed about this great product.
It cleans the toilet perfectly and the “chemical pad” is flushed down the toilet at the end, so all you have is the wand to keep in your cleaning caddy, this to me is the perfect toilet cleaning solution that every household should use!
Lastly, did you know that that the toilet brush was only invented in 1932?
