Prince William, who is second in line to the British throne, admits its current occupier shows no signs of stepping aside, according to the Daily Mail.
“We do hint at taking some things off her, but she won’t have anything of it,” he says of his 85-year-old grandmother, the Queen of England.
“She’ll want to hand over knowing she’s done everything she possibly could to help, and that she’s got no regrets and no unfinished business.”
As for his own future on the throne?
“As I’m flying along in my helicopter through the mountains of Wales, I try desperately hard not to think about it,” says William, who is a rescue helicopter pilot.
“That can wait until I’m a bit older.”
