A woman living in a west-end home was horrified when she discovered a hidden video camera in her bedroom last week, allegedly planted by her roommate, a video specialist.
Officers were called to a rental home near 182 Street and 76 Avenue on the afternoon of March 13.
When they arrived, they discovered that, in fact, a recording device had been stashed in the woman’s room, police said.
Stephen Borst, 22, has been charged with one count of break and enter and voyeurism.
Borst lived in the home with a number of other renters.
The owner of a small video production company, his background is padded with audio/visual and theatre production.
Borst could not be reached for comment yesterday.
