Halifax Regional Police have released the name of the woman whose death they are continuing to treat as suspicious.
Police say Roxanne Page, a 49-year-old from Dartmouth, was found dead at an apartment on Roleika Drive Saturday morning by someone who went to visit her.
An autopsy was conducted yesterday, but police say the cause of death won’t be determined until additional tests are conducted.
An injured man was also found at the apartment. According to police spokesman Const. Brian Palmeter, he was arrested and taken to hospital to be treated for “self-inflicted wounds.”
The man is in hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, but Palmeter said he’s no longer in custody. Page was the lone resident of the apartment, Palmeter added.
