Edmonton police aren’t saying if they have any leads on the whereabouts of a woman who has been missing for a week.

Melanie Jerome, who is 47, was last seen at her north-side home on the evening of July 14 and her cellphone hasn’t been answered for even longer.

Family members say that her disappearance is very much out of character.

Forensics investigators have examined Jerome’s vehicle, which was found on the south side of Edmonton on Monday, but are not saying if anything out of the ordinary was found.

Jerome’s husband is pleading for help in locating his wife.

Scott Keith says that Jerome drove away after they had an argument, but he said that the quarrel was not violent or physical.
