The stage is set for the Atlantic University Sport women’s basketball championship at Dalplex.
The regular season wrapped up yesterday, and the host Dalhousie Tigers (14-6) finished third overall and have a quarter-final tilt with the sixth-place Acadia Axewomen (7-13). The tournament begins on Friday at Dalplex.
The fourth-place St. Francis Xavier X-Women (16-4) face the fifth-place New Brunswick Varsity Reds (8-12).
The first-place Memorial Sea-Hawks (16-4) and Cape Breton Capers (15-5) have first-round byes.
