Police in Vanderhoof are being credited with catching an alleged killer after stopping a suspicious truck on an old logging road and following its tracks to a murdered teenager.
The body of Loren Donn Leslie, 15, was found on the side of the road. She was from Fraser Lake.
RCMP Cpl. Dan Moskaluk said that it appears the girl had been murdered hours earlier. He did not say how she died.
Cody Alan Legebokoff, 20, from Prince George, is charged with first-degree murder.
