The YMCA of Greater Toronto will hold a YMCA Walk for Strong Kids in downtown Toronto today.

The YMCA of Greater Toronto will hold a YMCA Walk for Strong Kids in downtown Toronto today.

More than 135 children from three of the YMCA’s licensed Child Care Centres in downtown Toronto are scheduled to meet at College and Dufferin at 10 a.m. and walk with parents, staff, volunteers and community members to help kids in their community.

Their destination will be Dufferin Grove Park, where they will participate in outdoor activities at the end of the walk.

These 135 children will join more than 6,800 youth who will be walking in communities across the GTA in support of the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, which raises funds so more kids and families can have access to life-enhancing YMCA programs and services.
