Double Dragon is now Steamy’s Asian Tapas & Grill. They offer a steam table at lunch and dinner “tapas” menu.
I like that the lunch menu runs to 4 p.m. — not everyone gets out of the office right at noon or 1 p.m. anymore. And there are a lot of options — daily combos, rice, noodles, vermicelli and chef’s recommendations.
I get Lemongrass Chicken ($7.45) with my choice of noodles or rice and mixed veg. The Flintstone-sized piece of chicken is moist and crisp, with the salty sweetness of rich lemongrass in every bite. The vegetables are firm, except for the soft, water-logged bok choy.
Grilled Atlantic Salmon ($9.85) also offers up a huge portion. You won’t go hungry eating here.
If you prefer your lunch piping hot, you might be disappointed. Mine was just warm, which I don’t mind — it means I don’t have to wait for it to cool down.
