A 20-year-old man suffered broken legs and a
driver was arrested after police investigated a collision between a
vehicle and a pedestrian early yesterday morning.
At 1:30 a.m., police responded to a collision between
a vehicle and a pedestrian in the parking lot behind Algonquin College
at 1385 Woodroffe Ave.
They found a 20-year-old man who had been run over
by a vehicle and suffered two broken legs. Paramedics said the vehicle
was in reverse when the collision occurred.
Police said the driver involved in the collision was not at the scene, but that they arrested a man a short distance away.
