Your Fashion’s Night Out game plan

During this year’s Fashion’s Night Out, you are not going to miss any of the following: the carnival at Alice + Olivia, complimentary manis at Chanel (with the newest collection designed by Peter Philips, creative director of Chanel Makeup, exclusively for the night), lobster rolls at Helmut Lang or illustrator Jessica Repetto sketching live portraits onto Band of Outsiders tote bags at the Opening Ceremony shop at Ace hotel. Because you, my friend, will be tuned in. Thanks to Fashionsnightout.com, a new, handy website that lists participating stores in 250 cities across the U.S. along with addresses and event details, you’ll be up to speed on the same events as Anna Wintour and gang. Now go map your itinerary!

While there are nearly 1,000 participants in NYC so far, here are some that have already made our must-stop list :

DKNY

Spend $250 or more and receive a DVD of the award-winning documentary “Bill Cunningham New York” in an exclusive, limited-edition tote. Or just stop by for a complimentary Blind Barber haircut before striking a pose for photographers. Munch on popcorn and sip on beers from Brooklyn Lager.

DOCKERS

Dockers, GQ magazine, the CFDA and Bloomingdale’s team up for the ‘Best New Menswear Designers in America’ program. It’s your chance to meet winner and design star Alexander Wang along with nominees Michael Bastian, Patrik Ervell, Rivera Club, Miller’s Oath and Warriors of Radness as they unveil their limited-edition looks for Dockers — which will be on sale!

HELMUT LANG

Catch a live performance by indie band Best Coast and get your picture taken in an interactive digital photo booth curated by Creative Directors Nicole and Michael Colovos. The images will be streamed on Helmutlang.com. And best yet, feast on gourmet bites by Luke’s Lobster Truck and drinks by Death + Company.

HENRI BENDEL + HESTER STREET FAIR

Uptown and downtown party together. The LES Hester Street Fair and Bendel’s are uniting for a street fair-type experience inside the Fifth Avenue flagship. You’ll find an eclectic mix of food, beauty, accessories and lifestyle product including Hester Street Fair favorites Melt Bakery (who’ll have a special FNO-inspired ice cream-sandwich flavor).

KIRNA ZABETE

Talk about star power. Here you’ll get a chance to meet designers such as Proenza Schouler, Thakoon, Altuzarra, Prabal Gurung, Peter Som, Sang A, Anndra Neen, Lizzie Fortunato, Wes Gordon, Fenton and Reece Hudson while you shop their exclusive FNO designs. Plus more cool stuff: music by DJ Wolf, shaved ice cocktails by People’s Pops, a photo booth with Yestadt Millinery, online interviews and contests throughout the night.

MACY’S

There’s a ton of fun stuff going on in the Herald Square location like personal appearances by Tommy Hilfiger, Coco Rocha and Rachel Roy and the Gucci Guilty Dance Party with Samantha Ronson.

REVLON at the MONDRIAN SOHO

Primp with Revlon’s global artistic director Gucci Westman. Ticket-holders get access to a personal consultation with makeup-artist-to-the-stars Gucci Westman followed by a runway-preview makeup application from a member of Gucci’s team. Also try a manicure from celebrity manicurist Jin Soon and her team, accompanied by champagne, cocktails and small bites. Attendees will also get a chance to win two tickets to rag & bone’s Fashion Week show. Tickets to this event are on sale this week, and all proceeds will be donated to “Look Good Feel Better,” a charity that supports women undergoing cancer treatment.

MISSONI for TARGET POP-UP

Shop a special preview of the Missoni for Target collection before it arrives in stores on Sept. 13. Angela Missoni and Margherita Maccapani Missoni will be on hand, and the first 20 guests to spend more than $100 will have the chance to take a quirky family-style portrait with the Missonis!
