Depending on which fantasy football rankings you are reading, Tom Brady is either the second or third best quarterback on your draft board. But here’s saying that he will be due for a small or potentially major drop-off statistically in 2018. Here is NFL Fantasy football injuries Tom Brady Mike Evans advice and more.

Before even being hit this season, Brady was dealing with a “back issue.” Back issues are not a good sign for any NFL player, let alone one who is on the wrong side of 40.

Injury concerns are legit for potential Brady fantasy owners particularly early in the year. Brady has been hammered in September the past few years as the Pats routinely use this time to work out the kinks in their offensive line.

The good news for potential Brady owners is that he just signed a new contract with the Patriots that is laced with statistical incentives. Brady no longer has Jimmy Garoppolo breathing down his neck in training camp, so this is basically “Garoppolo on paper.” Brady lives to prove people wrong, and will want to hit all of those incentives – which include being top five in the NFL in passing yards, touchdowns and passer rating.

That said, there are more young star QBs right now that could prove to be Aaron Rodgers level fantasy studs than there have been in quite a while. Even with similar stats to his MVP season of last year, Brady could fall out of the top five in terms of overall fantasy production. As always, rushing isn’t his forte. But Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Deshaun Watson, Andrew Luck and Carson Wentz will all give you a little something extra with their legs. Below are more NFL Fantasy football injuries Tom Brady Mike Evans advice moving forward.

Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans looks to be rated a little too high on most fantasy wide receiver rankings as the infrastructure of the Tampa Bay organization is on shaky ground. Most teams only go as far as their head coach – quarterback combo and the Bucs currently have one of the more worrisome situations in the NFL. Jameis Winston will miss the first three games of the season due to suspension, and Dirk Koetter is a three game losing streak away from being fired.

Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the starter in the Bucs’ first three games and Evans did not exactly light it up with Fitzpatrick at quarterback last season (Fitzpatrick played in five games last season). Evans did not have a plus-100 yard game with Fitzpatrick at QB. Above is NFL Fantasy football injuries Tom Brady Mike Evans injury avoids and more.
