NHL Playoffs: Bruins oust Canadiens in overtime

By the skin of their teeth, the Boston Bruins are advancing in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The B’s blew a late lead last night against Montreal, but Nathan Horton was the hero once again, scoring in overtime to give Boston a 4-3 victory.

Chris Kelly’s third goal of the series put the B’s up 3-2 with just over 10 minutes to play. But P.K. Subban beat Tim Thomas on the power play to tie it in the final two minutes of regulation.

Montreal dominated the opening minutes of overtime, but Habs goalie Carey Price couldn’t stop a Horton slapper 5:43 in.

Next up for Boston: A rematch of last year’s playoff collapse against the Philadelphia Flyers.
