Nintendo announces release of classic game system with 30 games built in

Fans of the classic Nintendo video game system from the 1980s have a reason to celebrate.

Nintendo has announced they will release a small-sized recreation of the classic game system that will include pre-installed classic games.

Get ready to take a trip down memory lane with 30 of Nintendo’s most popular titles including Castlevania, Excitebike, Super Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda.

Here is the full list of included titles.

  • Balloon Fight
  • Bubble Bobble

The system is made to plug directly into a high-definition TV using an included HDMI cable. The bundle will cost $60 when it hits stores on Nov. 11. If you want a second controller, that will cost you $10 extra.

What comes in the box:

  • Nintendo Classic Mini gaming system
  • HDMI cable
  • USB cable for powering the system
  • One classic NES controller

If plan to power the system using an AC adapter, you must purchase that separately. That’s a bit of a bummer, but it’s a small price to pay to hop in a virtual time machine and play classic games from your childhood.

According to Nintendo, each game will come equipped with multiple “suspend points” that will allow players to stop a game and pick up from where they left off at another time. There’s no need for searching for a pen and piece of paper to scribble down a password.
