New Jersey Transit trains are running on or close to their normal schedules to and from Penn Station after a train disabled in one of the Hudson River during the Wednesday morning rush hour commute, the agency announced.
NJ Transit trains are operating on or close to schedule in and out of Penn Station New York, with residual delays to trains already enroute following an earlier disabled NJ Transit train in one of the Hudson River tunnels.

Train service resumed just after 11 a.m., after being halted to and from Penn Station when the train experienced a mechanical issue inside the tunnel around 8:15 a.m. About 900 passengers were on board, a NJ Transit representative told Metro, and a rescue train was dispatched soon after. NJ Transit riders experienced delays of up to 45 minutes during the morning commute to and from Penn Station.
As NJ Transit service is on or close to its normal schedules, PATH is no longer cross-honoring NJ Transit tickets and passes at Newark, Hoboken and 33rd Street in New York.
