An unnamed source in the NFL allegedly said that New England Patriot’s quarterback Tom Brady will still face a four-game suspension, despite winning a decisive victory in the Deflategate legal battle in a federal courtroom.

A “very influential person in the NFL” reportedly told New York’s WFAN Boomer and Cartlon that “there is no doubt in his mind Brady will serve a four-game suspension this season.”

After leading the Patriots to a Super Bowl victory, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell handed Brady a four-game suspension for questionable questionable air pressure in his footballs during the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The suspension came down on May 11 and was upheld on July 28. Then it was overturned by a federal judge.

Goodell vowed to appeal, and skipped out on the first NFL season opener in his tenure as NFL overlord.
