You’d think a needle on your penis would be the least arousing act known to man, but a 21-year-old from Iran has been left with a prolonged semi-erection after he tattooed his member.
According to The Journal of Sexual Medicine, it is the first-ever case of “nonischemic priapism” (in which a penis becomes semi-rigid for a long period of time) as the result of getting a penile tattoo.
How did this happen? The tattoo injured blood vessels in and around the precious organ, preventing sufficient blood flow out of the penis. Thus making things… hard for the man.
According to MSNBC’s The Body Odd, the unnamed man had an unsuccessful shunt procedure performed, but The Journal of Sexual Medicine reports he still sufferss from the condition.
“Because of the painless nature of erections, moderately good preservation of erectile function during intercourses, and disappointment with former surgery, the patient declined further therapies, and he lives with his condition,” the article said.
