NYPD: Same gunman wanted in East Side and UWS stickups

The same gunman is wanted for two store stickups — one on the East Side and the other on the Upper West Side.

Incident #1 (24 Pct) : On Thurs., April 9, at 8:35 p.m., inside of A and M Candy store located at 614 Amsterdam Ave., the suspect pulled to guns, demanded money from a 57-year-old victim, but fled without taking anything.

Incident #2 (19 Pct) : On Fri, April 10, 2015 at 9:45 p.m. inside of a Dunkin Donuts at 411 East 70th St., the same man entered the store, pointed a gun at a 31-year-old store clerk and made off with $250.

There were no reported injuries in either incident.

The suspect is described as: a male Black who is medium build, last seen wearing a gray hoodie with a large American flag on the front, dark pants, black shoes and a black mask covering his nose and mouth. He was also wearing dark sunglasses and black gloves.

Probationary city cop charged in child text case

The NYPD on Thursday reported the arrest an off-duty probationary cop for acting “in manner injurious to a child.

Christopher Quinn, 26, of Staten Island’s Sunnyside section is still in the police academy, reports The Daily News .

He allegedly sent inappropriate pictures and texts to a 13-year-old girl, police sources told the paper. Quinn was issued a desk appearance ticket and is due in court on May 15, a source told The Advance.

Queens homicide victim identified

Cops on Friday identified the victim of Thursday’s fatal slaying in front of 116-19 230th Street in Cambria Heights, Queens, as 40-year-old Dshawn Rogers, who was reportedly homeless.

Cops from the 105 Precinct, responding to a 911 call, found the victim unconscious and unresponsive, with a stab wound in the torso.

EMS rushed him to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Cops are investigating.

Williamsburg four-year-old cold case slay solved.

A 58-year-old Upper Manhattan man was in custody Friday for a 2011 killing in Brooklyn.

Ramon Escobar, of Inwood, was charged with manslaughter and weapons possession for the fatal Roebling Street stabbing in Williamsburg of David Fernandez, who lived nearby.

The stabbing happened near 9 p.m. on April 29, 2011, cops said.
