Police have identified the man who was found dead under a mattress in a Midtown hotel on Monday. Roderick Goodwin, 28, was found with trauma to the back of his head early Monday morning in a room at the Hilton Garden Inn at 63 W. 35th St. Goodwin is fromBridgeton, NJ in the southern region of the state. Goodwin was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death. The NYPD said Tuesday they are investigating as a homicide.
No arrests have been made.
