The NYPD is looking for a suspect they say has recently stolen multiple cellphones from straphangers riding the 2 train in the Bronx.

Police say that in three incidents, the suspect has gotten on a 2 train at Intervale and Westchester Avenues in the Bronx and taken a victim’s cellphone by force before fleeing.

Police say the suspect stole cellphones on the following dates and times: 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29 on a northbound 2 train; 12 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10 on a southbound 2 train; and 9:50 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11 on a southbound 2 train.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 18 years old, 5-feet-8 inches and 160 pounds with brown eyes and brown curly hair. He was last seen wearing black sneakers, blue jeans and a gray hoodie.
