One NYPD horse had the ride of his life on Wednesday night.
At about 7:45 p.m. a loud noise spooked an NYPD Mounted Unit Horse on 48th street between Sixth Avenue and Broadway and caused it to throw off a police officer and run down the street in Times Square, according to CBS New York. The horse, named Gunny, ran east to Sixth Avenue and then ran south to 47th street before turning west, police told CBS.
