NYPD seeks man accused of grabbing 7-year-old’s butt

Police are searching for a man who allegedly grabbed a 7-year-old girl’s buttocks before fleeing.

On Monday around 5:30 p.m. at the Southside Food Plaza at 428 Bedford Ave. in Williamsburg, the man approached the 7-year-old and grabbed her rear, according to police.

After the incident, he fled in an unknown direction, police reported.

Officers were searching for the suspect, whom they described as white, approximately 45 years old and 5-foot-8. He had short white hair and a tattoo of dots on his hand and possibly under his right eye as well.

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and a black baseball cap, authorities stated.
