NYPD Sergeant grilled over Anna Gristina’s alleged prostitution ring

The NYPD’s Internal Affairs Unit is now grilling an NYPD sergeant for possible involvement in the high-class Upper East Side sex ring allegedly run by Anna Gristina.

The sergeant, who is a 12-year veteran of the NYPD, is being questioned today because he has reportedly been spotted on several occasions hanging out by the East 78th Street apartment which Gristina allegedly used as a brothel, according to the New York Daily News.

The sergeant “flat-out denies this,” a source close to him told the News. “He doesn’t know any of these people and I don’t think he’s in any hot
water whatsoever.”

Gristina, who is currently held at Riker’s Island on a $2 million bail, has been charged with running a $10 million hooker ring.

She allegedly bragged that she had contacts in law enforcement who could warn her whenever there were crackdowns on brothels and other prostitution businesses.
