NYPD: Two bodies found in parks, both ruled homicides

Bodies of two homicide victims were found in two Queens parks.

According to NYPD, the body of a black man was found in the Forest Park Bandshell parking lot at 4:30 a.m Thursday. He had stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have ruled his death a homicide.

Another body was found just hours later at 9:30 am at Beach 13 of Rockaway Beach. Police said the victim had two gun shot wounds to his head and was also declared dead at the scene.

Both homicide investigations are ongoing and no suspects have yet been named.
