NYPD: Two suspects arrested in Bronx nightclub shooting

The NYPD has arrested two suspects in a Bronx nightclub shooting earlier this month.

Zaire Bansey, 19, and Peter Hajdari, 18 — both of the Bronx — were arrested Monday on charges of murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon, the NYPD said.

Metro previously reported that on Oct. 5, officers responded to Xtreme Lounge at 2510 Valentine Ave. near Fordham Road to find three men shot, two men with knife wounds and another who had beaten with a baseball bat.

Dennis Rodriguez, 24, of East 137th Avenue, was shot in the torso, and pronounced dead upon arrival at St. Barnabas Hospital. The four other men were listed as in critical and stable conditions after the shooting, police said.
