The Giants still have an outside shot at a playoff spot, but will need some help from the Redskins and Eagles in the season’s final two weeks.

They’ll also need star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to appeal his one-game suspension, the penalty that was handed down Monday. He would miss the Giants’ Week 16 game against the Vikings.

Beckham was flagged for three personal foul penalties Sunday in the Giants’ 38-35 loss to the Panthers during is on-and-off fighting with Carolina cornerback Josh Norman.

The infighting was supposedly started during a Panthers pregame ritual, which involves a baseball bat. According to several sources, Beckham felt “threatened” by the bat before the game.

Whether Panthers players were actually verbally threatening Beckham, or if they were using the bat to intimidate him on the sidelines pregame is anyone’s guess.

Beckham was the 2014 Offensive Rookie of the Year andhas 91 catches for 1,396 yards and 13 touchdowns, tied for the league in scoring.

If you are in the fantasy playoffs and have Beckham, you better hope the player can appeal the suspension at least for one week.
