Off-duty cop slapped girlfriend as she held newborn: Police

An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested for allegedly slapping his girlfriend as she was holding their 3-month-old baby.

Police took their fellow officer, Brayan Terrazas, into custody early Friday in Queens, the New York Daily News stated, adding that his arrest has led to multiple charges.

Terrazas was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, criminal mischief and harassment,police said to Pix 11.

In 2012, Terrazas was arrested for drunk driving after he crashed into a divider in Long Island City, according to the Daiiy News.

He was arrested in Corona, Pix 11 reported, but it was unclear if police found him at his home, the Daily News added.
