OMG: Katy Perry wrote an adorable email asking for Super Bowl advice from Bruno Mars

Katy Perry probably has a lot on her mind lately, but perhaps the biggest thing on her mind is this teeny tiny, no big deal concert in front of millions of people that she has coming up this Sunday.

Perry is so nervous about her Super Bowl Sunday performance that she told Billboard that she plans on sending last year’s Super Bowl performer, Bruno Mars, an email asking for some tips. She read the email out loud to Billboard and it’s beyond adorable.

“Hello, exclusive Super Bowl club member! I was wondering if you are in L.A. at all this month and would have tea with a sister who is about to throw up with nervousness re: [football emoji]. I’ve heard about your process through our managers, but am wondering if you had more insight on important things like, spray tan the night before or three nights before? JK, or maybe not!”

The “Firework” singer gave some hints about what to expect from her performance this Sunday at a Super Bowl press event on Thursday.

“I’m going to play on my strengths, which I think are humor, incredible joy, and I think my songs are anthemic. I hope at the end of the day that 100 million people are all smiling in unison.”

She also hinted at a guest performer during the half-time show saying

“I wanted to bring someone back. A throwback of sorts that definitely needed some more shine. All I can say is it will be a real female fun night. It’s a bit old school. When this person enters the stage and you hear the first ring of the chord I think jaws will drop and faces will melt.”

Perry has some tough acts to beat aside from last year’s rousing performance by Bruno Mars:

She also has Beyonce’s (somewhat really iconic) performance at the Superbowl in 2013 to compete with. Just as a reminder this is what that performance looked like:

We’re sure Ms. Perry will do fine during her televised performance in front of millions of people that will live on forever in the history of our collective conciousness. No pressure at all!
