Hodan Mohamed is working towards a career as a human rights advocate. Her undergraduate degree in political science helped her land a sponsored internship, working for Mines Action Canada in Nairobi, Kenya. Her next step is to get her masters in human rights. Her goal is to work for the United Nations. In the meantime, Mohamed volunteers her time at the Canada Centre For Victims Of Torture. She also can’t wait to start taking in some springtime activities like hitting the Toronto islands as well as visiting the city’s museums.
