The MTA’s FASTRACK repairs program is being extended past the Central Business District and Downtown Brooklyn for the first time.
The Grand Concourse BD line in the Bronx will be shut down overnight for repairs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for four consecutive weeknights starting today.
The MTA recommends the 4 train as an alternative, and says night closures can add 20 minutes to travel time. A transfer is available between the 4 and the D at 161st Street.
Free shuttle buses will run between the Horwood 205th Street D station and Mosholu Parkway 4 station.
