WINNIPEG – A psychologist has told a child custody hearing in Manitoba that the parents of two kids seized by the province had posted hateful comments about Jews, aboriginals and other minorities on the Internet.
The children – a boy and a girl – were removed from their parents care after the girl showed up at school with racist writing on her body.
The psychologist told court the mother called the Holocaust a lie on Internet message boards and said that Jews control the Canadian government.
He says the father wrote about hating other races and about using his fists to defend his race.
Manitoba Child and Family Services is applying for permanent custody of the children, alleging they were neglected, lived in squalor and were raised to believe in violence against minorities.
No one in the case can be identified under Manitoba law.
