Tuesday, August 29 would have been Michael Jackson’s 59th birthday. And so his um, daughter, Paris — Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson if ya nasty — of course wrote a tribute to her late um, dad, on Instagram.
In the picture, a young Paris is kissing Michael. She wrote, Birthday wishes to the love of my life, the one person who showed me what passion truly was, the one that gave me solid morals to live by and how to dream.”
She continued, “I will never feel love again the way i did with you. You are always with me and I am always with you. Though I am not you, and you are not me, I know with all of my being that we are one. And our souls will never change in that way. Thank you for the magic, forever and always.” Deep!
She also shared a picture of herself from Sunday’s VMA awards — where she gave a rousing, political speech condemning white supremacy — with some sort of weird shadow of Michael kissing her forehead. I don’t know. Kids these days and their mega advanced photo manipulation skills, I tell ya.
So yeah, in case you’ve been wondering what Paris Jackson has been up to: Same old. Thank goodness for her consistency, honestly.
