The Patriots got back on track Sunday night in Houston, thumping old friend Bill O’Brien and the Texans, 27-6. Thanks to Sunday afternoon losses from the Broncos and Bengals, the Patriots moved back into the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff picture with an 11-2 record on the season.

The Pats defense came up huge against Houston, never allowing Texans starter Brian Hoyer to get comfortable. Hoyer went just 11-for-22 for 155 yards in the loss. The Houston ground game mustered just 87 yards.

Keshawn Martin, James White and the returning Rob Gronkowski scored touchdown for the Patriots.
