A 26-year-old male pedestrian suffered serious head and spinal injuries after he was struck by a cube van on Bronson Avenue just north of the Queensway Monday morning.
The collision happened just before 9:40 a.m. Although conscious at arrival of paramedics, the man lost consciousness as paramedics treated him at the scene.
He was taken to hospital where, he is in serious condition.
Police are now investigating.
