A pedestrian is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a school bus late Thursday morning.
At 11:15 a.m., a school bus struck a pedestrian on Russell Road at Haig Drive.
Paramedics treated and transported the pedestrian to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver and three children who were on the bus at the time of the collision were not injured.
Russell Road was closed between Industrial Avenue and Smyth Road for a time while collision investigators were on scene.
