From Thursday, June 2 through Sunday, June 5, the annual Wizard World Comic Convention will once again touch down at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. With superheroes as popular as ever these days, you can be certain that hardcore, casual, and even newer fans will overflow the halls to buy unique toys and art, attend industry panels, and maybe, just maybe, get to meet some of the Hollywood icons who will be attending, like Michael J. Fox, Chris Hemsworth, or Captain America himself, Chris Evans. If you do plan to go, here here are five things you need to know for this year.

1. Three popular fandoms will be celebrated.

This year, Back to the Future Fans will be able to greet stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson. Additionally, X-Files fans will also be thrilled with the appearance of series star David Duchovny and supporting actors Mitch Pileggi and William B. Davis. But perhaps the most anticipated and celeb-heavy appearance will be by NINE members of the intricately-linked Marvel Cinematic Universe including Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell.

2. Some of the celebrity guests may not have photo ops and autographs available.
Due to limited appearance times and contractual obligations with the convention, certain celebrities may only be available for photographs and autograph sessions to those holding VIP passes. As of this writing, celebrities who will not be available for non-VIP ticket holders are Chris Evans, Michael J. Fox, and Tom Hiddleston. Check in with the official Wizard World event page for additional info.

3. Don't forget the other guys!
While it is very easy to get distracted by the star power that will be appearing at Wizard World this year, don't let it blind you from the hundreds of artists, writers, and creators who will also be on hand all weekend. Remember, even the Marvel universe itself started with Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and others drawing and writing late into the night. Offering short lines and free autographs, artists, writers and creators will be able to engage in one-on-one discussions about the comics industry, as only an insider could tell.

4. Remember the 5-2-1 Rule.
Wizard World lasts over three days. If you are coming in from out of town and plan on dedicating your entire weekend to the convention, remember to follow the 5-2-1 rule of conventions to ensure that you and your fellow fans have the best time possible. This includes getting five hours of sleep each night, eating at least two meals a day and taking at least one shower per day. With hour-long lines and aisles of merchandise to explore, it is easy to deviate from this rule.

5. Bargain Sunday!
When you see that favorite comic book or prized toy, don't buy it right away! Resist the temptation and revisit the vendor on Sunday. Chances are, in an effort to move as much merchandise as possible before they close the convention, you will find yourself with reduced prices.
Above all else, have fun and mingle with your friends and fellow fans!
