Boy dies after two car crash on Henry Avenue, police say

As rain poured on Philadelphia, a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon left a child dead and several others injured, police said.

The boy, aged between 5 and 7, was pronounced dead at 4:48 p.m. Sunday, according to police, after the two car crash at 4 p.m. on Henry Avenue at Hermit Lane in Northwest Philly.

A two-month-old infant was listed in critical but stable condition at St. Christopher’s Hospitalas of 6 p.m., police said, while an adult male was in critical but stable condition at Albert Einstein Medical Center.

Five adults and four children were involved in the crash, CBS3 reported. Eight of themsustained injuries.

The cause of the crash was not reported.
