When people have been talking about nothing but where and what to drink in Philly for five years, we trust them to put together a good party. The Drink Phillycrew is celebrating its fifth birthday Thursday night with an anniversary bash, with a view: The celebration is at Top of the Tower, on the 51st floor of Three Logan Square. The event space has panoramic views of the city.
As for libations, Drink Philly has lined up a long list of brewers, like SweetWater (from Atlanta and new to Philly) and Sam Adams, plus local favorites including Victory, Yards and St. Benjamin.
For the cocktail drinkers, sample spirits from American Honey Whiskey, Skyy Vodka and Espolon Tequila.
But don’t worry, your $50 ticket also gets you plenty of food to balance out the alcohol: savory eats from places like Buena Onda Tacos and The Dandelion, sweet treats from Little Baby's Ice Cream, and a lot more. Part of the proceeds go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand, so you can feel good about indulging. Dress is “creative black tie,” which means you’ll need to balance out looking fancy with something you can eat in without busting a button.
