Bailey was wanted for sexually assaulting his stepdaughter and brutally beating her mother in the family home on the 1900 block of Pratt Street, according to police.

The girl was able to escape, and ran to a neighbor’s house for help. The neighbors called 911.

When police arrived at around 12:30 a.m., they found the girl’s mother not moving and bleeding from her face. She had a large head wound and was missing teeth, which police said was the result of “blunt force trauma.”
