Police have arrested a homeless, disabled veteran after a seemingly random stabbing in Rittenhouse Square left a 24-year-old man dead, ABC reported.
Police said the attacker and the victim, both of whom have not been identified, did not know one another.
The stabbing reportedly happened around 3 a.m. Sunday, when the suspect approached a group of friends celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. There was a brief argument, and the man stabbed one of them in the chest and fled, CBS reported.
The victim was then taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he died.
