Man jumps to death during Kensington fire

A man who jumped out a window to escape flames during an early-morning blaze in Kensington died, reports say.

The man who died was not identified.

Six others were injured, Fox29 reported.

The blaze broke out around 6 a.m. in a three-story apartment building the 3200 block of Kensington Avenue near the El train.

The building did not have any smoke detectors or fire alarms, FOX said.

Police are investigating whether the fire was set intentionally.

The Inquirer reported that four were hospitalized including a child.
