Police said that a man apparently fatally shot his wife and their two dogs before turning the gun on himself in a tragic murder-suicide over the weekend in Warrington, Pennsylvania.
Larry Rothenberger, 48, and wife Mary Ellen Curry, 56, were both found dead Saturday after friends who had not seen them in days called police, reports say.

Curry was found dead of a gunshot wound inside a bathroom.
Rothenberger was found dead in a bedroom of a self-inflicted gunshot.
The couple's two dogs were found dead in the kitchen.
A .40-caliber handgun registered to Rothenberger was found at the scene of the crime.
Police told the Bucks County Courier Times they believe the shooting was a domestic incident that escalated.
