Yesterday, South Street officially got into the holiday spirit with the South Street Christmas Parade. The Philadelphia Freedom Band, Pennsport Mummers, Liberty Bellows, Philly PACK kids ensemble, Equilibrium Dance Studio, Meredith School Choir, the cast of Liberty City Radio Theater’s “It’s A Wonderful Life” and more took part.

It began at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens (11th and South) and ended at the Historic Headhouse Shambles (2nd and Lombard). Meisha Johnson of CBS3 took the role of emcee for the event.
