Police identified the 26-year-old man who was fatally hit by a car while riding his bike just after midnight on Sunday as a Temple grad and aspiring filmmaker.
Vijay Mohan, 26, was struck by a Buick Roadmaster while biking near Girard and Ridge avenues, police said.
The driver remained at the scene of the accident.
Mohan was pronounced dead two hours later.
Mohan, who listed his hometown as Chicago on Facebook, studied film and media arts at Temple.
He was working for Philly Community Access Media (Philly CAM) at the time of his death, the Inquirer reported.
The death follows another hit-and-runbike crash involving Temple student Rachel Hall, 22 on April 30. She remains on life support.
The driver, who turned himself in a day after the crash, was arrested and charged last week.
